A great team
building idea! Participants will team up
and work together in this fun hands-on class to create a
delicious meal that everybody will enjoy eating. A visit to a local wet
market for the participants to buy the ingredients for the cooking
class can also be incorporated. People will get to know each other in a
relax environment. They will cook things that they did not know they
could do. The classes can be conducted in a cooking studio, in
Ruqxana's kitchen, at the beach, in a Malay Kampong House on Pulau Ubin
or on an Organic Farm, on a Lake House or even on a Luxury Yacht!.
Ruqxana has
conducted corporate cooking classes for more than 100 organisations
over the past seven years.
Prices starts from $110
per person .

If you
want a gourmet meal in your own home or
want to cook a very special meal for someone very special, then
why not get Ruqxana to come over to your house to prepare the meal. She
will not only plan the menu together with you but if you
want to be the one to cook the meal, she will guide you along or she
can take care of everything while you sit back and relax. Once the meal
has been prepared, she will dissapear to give you all the privacy that
only a home can offer. She has cooked many such meals for men who
wanted to surprise their wife or girlfriend. She even help prepare a
dessert during such an occasion where she had the privilege of putting
a ring in it!!!!!!
Prices start from $500.

How about
giving someone a Gift
Voucher for a cooking
class. You can also add a cook book or a beautiful hand sewn Batik Apron with it. This can also be a
great wedding gift for the couple.
Price depends on the type
of classes that you want to offer as a gift
and the cookbook and apron if included.

When children play, they
are doing more than having fun. They
are learning every minute. They are experimenting, exploring and
discovering new horizons and they are doing it with endless energy and
curiosity. Ruqxana's primary aim is to get children excited about
creating food and being in the kitchen. And of course the educational
benefits includes, cooking using math, science, reading, organising
their work logically and art that goes along with it.
Through a hands-on learning approach to meal and snack preparation, and
using the "play approach," some basic nutrition information toward
promoting healthy lifestyle and the learning of a practical skill are
passed on to the children!
Few types of programmes
offered by Cookery Magic:
Cooking Up A Story
A cooking programme
created around the reading of a story. Children are
read a story and within the story, the children are guided to cook the
dishes based on the story. A really fun way to get into a day of story
telling with involves eating fun food and cooking it too!
Writing My First Cookbook
There are sessions for
4-6 year olds, 6-9 year olds and 10-12 year
olds. During each class Ruqxana teaches her young students
age-appropriate cooking skills which combine cooking, cooking art and
math.

Class is
conducted on an Eco Farm in Lim Chu Kang. You actually harvest the
vegetables and cook your own meal. Read Juzze's online magazine review.

Cooking
Class in a Malay Kampong House on Pulau Ubin
This cooking
class is conducted in a Malay Kampong
house on Pulau Ubin off Changi that is said to be 100 years old.
It has a very small kampong community of only 60 people. It still
feels like Singapore in the 1960's with a laid back lifestyle. To get
to the island, we take a bumboat from Changi Jetty. It is a 10
mins ride. From the jetty on the island we take a stroll to the kampong
house that belongs to Kamariah who was born and brought up in the
house. The traditional and little known healthy Malay dish, Nasi Kerabu that uses wild jungle herbs,
will be taught. Cost:
$130 per person.
